Family Portrait from the Sixties
OK – no excuse.  This picture is from the Sixties, but it’s the only formal one ever taken of the entire family!

My four brothers continue to gain notoriety and fame in their respective fields of art.  So in a burst of  inspiration, I offer this personal introduction and tribute to them.

Recent motley shot of us five.

In a nutshell, here is my personal, unofficial viewpoint on my brothers' different worlds of art.  Click on each to learn more.

1.Bob (Kai) – Hang up and stand up art in 3D and mixed-media that you cannot ignore; guaranteed to provoke conversation and many other emotions. Not for the timid or wimpy!
2. Carl– Public projects that makes front page and TV news.  Typical comment on his projects:  “How did he ever think of doing THIS?!?” The most difficult to describe of all my brothers’ art.
3. Fu-Ding– Award winning art films, record albums, movie art sets and hauntingly beautiful air brush paintings.  Ever see single pictures so moving they bring tears?  Beauty, romance, religion, rituals, spiritual – these are the thoughts that come up when I see Fu-Ding's work. In late 2000, he published an exquisite children's book:  Dream House that is so beautiful and with such a touching story that if it doesn't bring tears it will forever change your feelings of your home.  Search on Amazon.com for "Dream House" for more details.
4. Fu-Tung – Award-winning homes and kitchens often featured in Sunset and architectural magazines, showcasing unique concrete counters, innovative designs and spiritual environments. Over a hundred articles have been written on him.  He's becoming a "designer name" in the esoteric categories of the kichen and home industries. One customer was so happy with his home design he donated his entire house for Fu-Tung’s wedding. Check out my link first, then go from there to his web site.
